    Christ the Saviour Church in Anderson, South Carolina, offers St. Brigid's Blessing discount food sales program.

    St. Brigid's Blessing is the new name for the Angel Food Ministries which closed operations in September, 2011.  Supreme Sales and Marketing Company of Brazelton Georgia read about the problems with Angelfood and felt led to fill the void.  The Company will provide this service to a three hundred mile radius from Brazelton, Georgia.

Anyone can purchase unlimited units of food, which included several pounds of assorted meats, vegetables, meal additives and deserts for $35.00  - $46.00per unit, a holiday box during holiday months for $36.00, and various specials which will be announced on pick-up date.

 The program is marketed to low-income families, but customers of any income level can purchase the food.  In particular, the ministry helps people with lower incomes spend their money more wisely.  Fr.     The program presently accepts cash, checks, and debits.  EBT authorization is presently being set up and will hopefully be operational in December, 2011

    Cathy Stazione, Angel Food Ministries program coordinator says, "if they can put that $35.00 aside, they can get enough food with it to feed a family of four for a week.  They get about $65.00 worth of food for a much lower price."

    The deadline to order the food is one before the delivery date.
